The struggle of the people against imperialism must be strengthened!

Joint Statement of Communist and Workers’ Parties

The Communist and Workers’ Parties signing this Joint Statement strongly condemn the US attack on Iran, which escalates the military offensive already launched by Israel.
After Afghanistan, Iraq, Libya, Syria and the ongoing genocide in Palestine, the USA and its allies are now shedding the blood of yet another country in the Middle East. This imperialist aggression is plunging people into war across a wider region and threatening to destroy humanity as a whole.
The Communist and Workers’ Parties are demanding an immediate end to the escalation of the war against Iran by the USA, NATO and Israel. We also call on people to strengthen their struggle against war, foreign military bases, troop deployments abroad, military equipment and nuclear weapons.
Solidarity with the people of Iran, Palestine, Lebanon, Syria, Yemen, and all other peoples in the region must be strengthened.

Stop the genocide against the Palestinian people

Joint Statement of Communist and Workers’ Parties

The Communist and Workers’ Parties condemn the new crime against the Palestinian people, which is being carried out before the eyes of the whole world and has been brought about by the intensification of the barbaric military aggression and the criminal Israeli blockade on the Gaza Strip.
The genocide that Israel is committing in the Gaza Strip, with thousands of dead civilians, children and elderly people, with millions of people deprived of food, water, electricity and medical supplies, with the complete destruction of hospitals and with millions of people displaced, is supported by the USA, NATO, the EU and all those bourgeois regimes that support Israel or keep silent about this inhuman crime.
We express our full solidarity with the Palestinian people and defend their right to a free homeland, to be masters in their own land. We condemn the decades-long Israeli occupation of the Palestinian territories, the killings, imprisonment, persecution and settlements.
We demand an end to the Israeli occupation, the creation and recognition of an independent Palestinian state, the cessation and dismantling of the illegal settlements in the Palestinian territories, the release of prisoners from Israeli jails and the return of refugees in accordance with UN Resolution 194.
We salute the massive internationalist solidarity with the Palestinian people that has been expressed in many countries and we call on the workers, the peoples and the youth in all countries tointensify the struggle to stop the massacre in the Gaza, to end the Israeli occupation of Palestine and to express their solidarity with the just struggle of the Palestinian people in a decisive way.

Everyone on the path of struggle!
Freedom for Palestine!

We stand against the widening of war in the Middle East!

Joint Statement of Communist and Workers Parties

We, the undersigned communist and workers parties campaigning for peace and progress in the Middle East, hereby express our most profound concerns over the unprecedented escalation of the situation in the region with the Israeli multi-dimensional attacks on Lebanon and full-scale invasion of the country. This has predictably resulted in the retaliatory missile strikes by Iran on Israeli targets, following on from Israeli attacks on Lebanon and other provocative infringements on Iranian sovereignty.
We believe that if the current trend of developments continues, the region will be plunged into a cycle of conflict that could very easily lead to a globalised war.  This would endanger the security of all states and peoples in our region.
In Israel, the Netanyahu government, which has flagrantly violated international law in its perpetration of a genocidal war in Gaza for the past 12 months, assassination of political leadersin Tehran and Beirut, and now in its invasion of Lebanon and blatant recourse to terror tactics to eliminate its foes there, is seeking a direct military conflict with Iran in order to expand the war across the Middle East, in collusion with the US and UK governments, to aggressively implement schemes fundamentally aimed at the re-drawing of the political map of the Middle East and imposition of their imperialist hegemony.
The state of Israel conducts itself as the wild arsonist in the Middle East, while Western powers continue to cover, support, and arm it to the teeth, since it constitutes their long and steely arm in the region. This despite Israel's repeated brazen thumbing its nose to the international community, under the auspices of the United Nations (UN), as well as the rule of international law.
We recognise the definitive peaceful and political resolution of the Palestinian issue as being central to the current situation in the Middle East.  We therefore call for an immediate full ceasefire and end to the genocidal war in Gaza andthe West Bank and the withdrawal of all Israeli forces from those territories; the release of all Palestinian prisoners held in Israeli gaols and detention centres; the release of all remaining Israeli hostages held in Gaza; as well immediate concrete and legally enshrined steps towards the recognition and implementation of a fully sovereign Palestinian state within the borders as they stood on 4 June 1967 as per the relevant UN resolutions.  In accordance with international law, the illegal occupation of Palestine must be brought to an end.
We furthermore call for the immediate withdrawal of all Israeli military forces from the sovereign territory of Lebanonand reaffirm our solidarity with the struggle of the Lebanese and Palestinian people and support for their fundamental and inalienable right under international law to resist foreign invasion and occupation. We also call for an endto the bombardment and military targeting of sites in Lebanon, Syria, Iran, Yemen, and further afield.
Pursuant to this, we call for an end to all exports of military armaments, ammunition, as well as technical assistanceto Israel in order to force a reversal from its dangerous military adventure in Palestine, Lebanon, and other countries in the Middle East.
We call for the rulings of the International Court of Justice (ICJ) regarding theIsraeli genocidal war in Gaza to be upheld and implemented without delay or obstruction.
We call for the UN's appeals to all sides to be heeded in order so as to earnestly row back from and avert the nightmarish scenario of a generalised war, which edges over closer and would spell disaster for all peoples of the region.

Solidarity with the Palestinian and Lebanese people

against occupation and the genocidal war

We, the undersigned communist and workers parties, hereby express our strongest condemnation against the escalating Israeli crimes against the Palestinian, Lebanese and all peoples of the Middle East.
Following months of the genocidal war against Gaza, which has resulted in the killings of tens of thousands of civilians - including 12,000 children - and the massive destruction of its schools, hospitals and infrastructure, we are now witnessing a new phase of murderous aggression on Lebanon and the initiation of a full-scale invasion of the country. This has led to a humanitarian catastrophe over the past few weeks, resulting in the martyrdom of more than 2,000 Lebanese citizens, the injuring of more than 10,000 and the displacement of about 1.2 million citizens who were forced to leave their homes, seeking shelter in other regions as well as on the streets and in cars and tents.
The assassinations of Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh in Tehran and Hezbollah General Secretary Hassan Nasrallah in Beirut have resulted in retaliatory missile strikes by Iran on Israeli targets. We believe that these aggressive actions and crimes conducted by the Zionist entity, with full support by imperialist powers, are leading the Middle East into a disastrous cycle of conflict and possibly a regional war.
The imperialist governments, especially those of the US and NATO countries are responsible for the crimes committed against the Palestinian and Lebanese people by being fully involved in the armament of Israel and open support through all financial, political, diplomatic, media and intelligence resources at their disposal, as well as sending their air and naval forces to the region in preparation for broader aggressions.
We hereby express our full solidarity with the peoples of the region, in particular the Lebanese and Palestinian people and their rightful resistance, in all its forms, to achieve their liberation and independence.
We salute the persistence, steadfastness and resistance of the peoples of the region, including communist and progressive forces that are striving for national liberation, independence and sovereignty.
We call for an immediate unconditional ceasefire in Gaza. We support theending of the occupation of Palestine, as well as guaranteeing the right of self-determination and the implementation of a fully sovereign Palestinian state with Jerusalem as its capital. We call for the return of all refugees.
We furthermore call for the immediate and unconditional withdrawal of all Israeli military forces that are occupying sovereign territories in South Lebanon, and the Golan heights in Syria and to end the bombardment of sites in Syria, Iran, Yemen, and further afield.
Pursuant to this, we call for an end to all exports of military armaments, ammunition, as well as technical assistance to the Israeli occupation army. We call for the rulings of the International Court of Justice (ICJ) regarding the Israeli genocidal war in Gaza to be upheld and implemented without delay or obstruction.
We also call upon the peoples of the world, and the communist, workers, and progressive forces in various countries, to assist the growth and strengthening of the wide political, popular, and media solidarity campaign to achieve the immediate ceasefire and to put an end to the Zionist aggression and its crimes against the Lebanese and Palestinian people and all peoples of the region.

Joint statement on democracy and common development

Joint Statement of World Political Parties, Social Organisations and Think Tanks on making Independent Efforts to Explore the Path Toward Democracy and Working Together to Promote Common Development

The New Communist Party of Britain, together with 355 other political parties as well as social organizations and think tanks from 140 countries endorsed this statement at video conference organised by the Communist Party of China in Beijing this week

I. We are of the view that the world we live in is a diverse and colorful one. Diversity is what defines the fascinating feature of human civilisations, and indeed the source of vitality and dynamism for the development of the world. The ways and means of realising democracy are varied. Since different countries and regions may not necessarily share the same history, culture, social system and development stage, there does not exist any system of democracy or pattern of development that is applicable to all countries. The practice of judging the rich variety of political systems around the world by a single yardstick, or observing the colorful political civilisations of the humanity from a monochromatic sight, is in itself undemocratic. Nor is it conducive to development.

II. We are of the view that the best way to evaluate whether the political system of a country is democratic and efficient is to observe whether the succession of its leading body is orderly and in line with the law, whether all people can manage state affairs and social, economic and cultural affairs in conformity with legal provisions, whether the public can express their requirements without hindrance, whether all sectors can efficiently participate in the country’s political affairs, whether national decisions can be made in a rational, democratic way, whether professionals in all fields can be part of the team of national leadership and administrative systems through fair competition, whether the ruling party can serve as a leader in state affairs in accordance with the Constitution and laws, and whether the exercise of power can be kept under effective restraint and supervision.

III. We are of the view that the judgement on whether a country is democratic hinges on whether the people can become the real masters of the country. While it is necessary to observe whether the people can enjoy the right to vote, it is even more important to observe whether their right of extensive participation is guaranteed. While it is necessary to observe what verbal promises the people get during election campaigns, it is even more important to observe how many of the promises are fulfilled after elections. While it is necessary to observe what political procedures and rules are stipulated in regulations and laws, it is even more important to observe whether these regulations and laws are rigorously enforced. While it is necessary to observe whether the exercise of power follows democratic rules and procedures, it is even more important to observe whether the exercise of power is truly subject to the supervision and restraint by the people.

IV. We are of the view that democracy is the right of all peoples, rather than an exclusive privilege of the few. The judgement on whether a country is democratic or not should be made by their people. We stand opposed to acts that interfere in the internal affairs of others in the name of democracy.

V. We are of the view that the point of departure as well as the goal of the development of human society should be to improve people’s wellbeing and to achieve well-rounded human development. The promotion of democracy should focus on the continuous realisation of people’s aspiration for a better life and the upliftment of their sense of fulfillment, happiness and security. Currently, countries need to especially strengthen cooperation in the fields of poverty alleviation, food security, COVID-19 response and vaccines, development financing, climate change and green development, industrialisation, digital economy and connectivity, and to accelerate the implementation of the UN 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, so that concentrated efforts are devoted to solve problems of the greatest, most immediate and most practical concern to the people. All countries and all peoples of the world deserve the opportunity and right to development. Efforts need to be made to promote inclusive development and ensure that no country is left behind.

VI. We are of the view that to make international relations more democratic is the trend of the times and the only way to realise this lies in putting true multilateralism into practice. As mankind is faced with various challenges and global issues, the effective response thereto can only be found in more inclusive global governance, more effective multilateral mechanism and more proactive regional cooperation. Better performance in the practice of multilateralism can always lead to better answers to the common problems facing humanity.

VII. We are of the view that efforts to build a human community with a shared future point the right direction to the development and progress of civilisation. The shared human values of peace, development, fairness, justice, democracy and freedom must serve as guidance in the endeavour to build such a community with a strong sense of responsibility for the future of humankind, so that countries with different social systems, ideologies, histories, cultures and levels of development can share interests, rights and responsibilities in international affairs and work together to build a better world. Deeply aware of the joint mission placed on our shoulders to promote democracy and improve people’s livelihood, we undertake to work hand in hand to rise above all kinds of differences, promote exchanges and mutual learning, enhance mutual understanding and build broad consensus, so that we continue to make our due contribution to the people’s wellbeing, national development, world peace and human progress.

On the occupation of Kosovo

Statement of communist and workers' parties

Since June 9th  1999 the southern Serbian province of Kosovo and Metohia has been under the occupation of the striking military arm of the Western imperialism, NATO, and the Serbs living in that area have become second-class citizens.

On that day, the so-called "Kumanovo Agreement" was signed, which started the NATO occupation of Kosovo and Metohia after the aggression of the western imperialist countries on the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia (March 24 - June 10). By signing that agreement, the Yugoslav Army was forced to leave Kosovo, and the Albanian terrorist pro-imperialist "Kosovo Liberation Army" took power in that territory, while NATO formed the largest military base in the Balkans, "Bondsteel". The aggression against FR Yugoslavia, the occupation of Kosovo and Metohia and the installation of the pro-imperialist separatist "Kosovo Liberation Army" in power in Pristina were done for the sake of expansionist and plundering interests of Western big capital.

A large number of Serbs and other non-Albanians were forced to flee their homes and flee to Serbia, while the rest of the Serb population left in Kosovo was subjected to constant torture and harassment by Albanian pro-imperialist separatist authorities in Pristina.

Since 2013, under the auspices of the European Union, meetings have been held in Brussels between the authorities in Belgrade and the separatist leadership in Pristina, at which the goal of the Western imperialists is to force Belgrade to accept the "independence" of Kosovo.

In the meantime, the Serb population has been exposed to constant pressure from the pro-imperialist separatist authorities in Pristina. It is completely hypocritical but also naive to expect that any negotiations on peace and prosperity will be conducted under the auspices of the imperialist power of the European Union, which, along with the United States and NATO, is the biggest culprit for the occupation and separation of Kosovo and Metohia from Serbia.

The Communist and Workers' Parties, signatories to this joint statement, demand the following:

    • That Washington, London, Brussels and other imperialist centers of power immediately stop putting pressure on Serbia to recognize the "independence" of Kosovo. Kosovo and Metohia is an integral and indivisible whole which, as its province, belongs to Serbia. Any change of borders is unacceptable and contrary to the interests of peace and prosperity.

     • That the puppet pro-imperialist government in Kosovo immediately stop all pressure on the Serb population living in that territory, as well as provide all refugees with opportunities to return if they wish!

     • The Serbian and Albanian people in Kosovo and Metohia should live in peace and unity and in the tradition of fraternal relations between Albanians and Serbs who, in the Second World War, fought side by side against the Nazi-fascist occupier!

    • The occupying NATO troops must immediately leave the territory of Kosovo and Metohia, and that southern Serbian province should return to the motherland. Only in that way can Serbs and Albanians live in that territory in true peace and prosperity!

    • NATO troops should leave all the territories they hold under occupation in the former Yugoslavia, as well as leave all the countries of the peninsula where they have their bases.

    • The Balkans belong to the Balkan nations and not to the USA, EU and NATO imperialists! NATO out of the Balkans!

Support the Struggle of the Communist Party of Cuba!

Solidarity Resolution by Communist and Workers' Parties in Support of
the Struggle of the Communist Party of Cuba

The imperialists are becoming more blatant in their attempts to topple the socialist system in Cuba.

The recent anti-government protests in Cuba are a product of the relentless maneuvers against the country staged by the US over a long period of time to obliterate the Cuban revolution.

Since the victory of the Cuban revolution, the US has committed ceaseless acts of military intervention, subversion and sabotage as well as economic blockade against Cuba under its scheme to stifle the first socialist country in the Western hemisphere by all means.

Lately, the US, in collusion with a handful of counter-revolutionary elements in Cuba, has been doggedly resorting to psychological conspiracy warfare and tactics of social disruption in order to undermine people's faith in the Communist Party and socialist system, and create and aggravate political instability in the country.

The reality shows that “peaceful co-existence” the US advocates is only a sly trick to find an easy way of fulfilling their aggressive ambition by instilling illusions about capitalism into anti-imperialist and independent countries.

The nature of imperialism never changes.

The lessons of history testify that we can defend the gains of revolution, socialist system and people's dignity only when we do not indulge in any kind of fantasy about imperialism, but constantly intensify the struggle against it.

The US is terribly mistaken about the unyielding faith and will of the Communist Party and people of Cuba who had opened up their way to the socialist cause with their blood and have stood strong and pulled through the protracted sanctions and blockade imposed by the imperialists and all other hardships.

Communist and Workers' Parties greatly appreciate the will of the Communist Party of Cuba to protect the sovereignty and dignity of the country and defend the socialist system to the end, resolutely opposing the vicious attempts of the US to topple its system, and we express strong solidarity with the Communist Party of Cuba.

Communist and Workers' Parties oppose and condemn in the strongest terms the immoral US sanctions and blockade against Cuba and demand that all sanctions and blockade which violate the Cuban people's rights to existence and development be lifted.

Communist and Workers' Parties will consistently and actively support and encourage the struggle of the Communist Party of Cuba and the Cuban government and people to firmly defend and advance the cause of socialism.

Cuba will win!

Joint Statement of Communist & Workers Parties

The Communist and Workers’ Parties denounce the orchestrated provocations and undermining acts of counterrevolutionary groups in Cuba and abroad, which attempt to create an image of destabilization to justify the imperialist intervention against Cuba and its people, utilizing the problems caused by the tightening of the criminal US blockade, worsened in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic.

We denounce the policy of the USA and its allies, which for more than 60 years have intensified the unacceptable and criminal blockade in defiance of the UN General Assembly resolutions, included Cuba in the list of “state sponsors of terrorism” in an arbitrary and unilateral way, and instigate all adventuristic mercenary groups against Cuba and its people.

We reiterate our full solidarity with the people, the Communist Party, and the government of Cuba, against all imperialist attacks on Cuba’s sovereignty and its people’s rights.

Hands off Cuba!

Lift immediately the US blockade and stop all forms of imperialist intervention right now!

Joint declaration condemning the continued bloodshed and occupation by Israel

We, the communist and workers parties undersigning this statement, strongly and unequivocally condemn the Israeli aggression meted out against Palestinians in Jerusalem - as well as the continued military bombardment upon Gaza which has resulted in the killing of scores of Palestinian civilians and the maiming of hundreds more, among them children. Israel’s brazen violation of international humanitarian law and international law has continued for decades now, aided and abetted with the full support of imperialist forces, and without any meaningful intervention from international institutions to bring these violations to an end or outwardly condemn them.

We demand:

  • An immediate cessation to the bombardment and besieging of Gaza;
  • An end to the attacks and violations against Palestinians exercising their rights in and around the Al Aqsa Mosque site and all other holy sites;
  • A stop to the relentless attacks and intimidation against Palestinian residents in East Jerusalem by the Israeli authorities and settlers, namely the latter’s attempts to evict families from the Sheikh Jarrah neighbourhood as part of a continued campaign of ethnic cleansing.

We express our full and unwavering solidarity with the just struggle of the Palestinian people to end the occupation and towards the establishing of an independent state, within the recognised borders as they stood on June 4th 1967, with East Jerusalem as its capital, and the right of return for all Palestinian refugees according to the relevant UN resolutions.

We call on all progressive and peace-loving people to raise their voice and join this appeal.

Joint statement against biological weapons

Joint statement against the proliferation of biological weapons and for the closure of US military biological laboratories around the world

We, the Communist and workers ' parties, with a sense of responsibility to our peoples, struggle for immediate measures for the protection of health and the access of all workers to free treatment and the coronavirus vaccine. At the same time, we express our deep concern for the existence and operation of military biological laboratories and declare that we demand a ban on the development and proliferation of biological weapons.

Against the background of the global Covid-19 pandemic and the crisis of capitalism and the aggravation of its contradictions, we once again see the deep shortcomings of the health system in all capitalist countries, as well as the violation of workers ' rights, and the generally anti-national nature of capitalism.

At the same time, we are particularly concerned about the fact that many countries continue to develop biological weapons. Only under the programs of the us Pentagon, 1,495 laboratories were created around the world, which are not accountable to the governments of the countries where they work, and their activities are not transparent. Similar laboratories have been established in Ukraine, Georgia, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and other countries.

The United States has not signed the Protocol to the international "Convention on the prohibition of the development, production and stockpiling of bacteriological (biological) and toxin weapons and on their destruction", thereby blocking efforts to control the Convention, while continuing to develop new types of deadly diseases.

State resources allocated for the development of biological and other deadly weapons, as well as modern scientific and technical potential, should be fully directed to providing all workers and theother popular strata with free medical care and to distribute Covid-19 vaccines to everyone without exception free of charge.

  • We, the Communist and workers ' parties are speaking out: For the prohibition of the development and proliferation of biological weapons
  • For the immediate elimination of all US military biological laboratories in all countries of the world
  • For the adoption of immediate measures to protect the health of workers, including free medical care and receiving vaccines against coronavirus

On the occasion of the first of May the International Labour Day

Statement of Communist and Workers' Parties
The Communist and Workers' Parties, which co-sign this Joint Statement, would like to express a common global position on the occasion of the first of May International Labor Day. Despite the fact that this year's workers' mobilizations will not be as massive as in previous years, due to the effects of the Covid-19 epidemic, workers will use many forms of struggle to honor their International Labor Day as a strike day, and will project their goals and demands, to oppose capitalist exploitation.
Our communist and worker parties organize diverse activities in this occasion in addition of international activities, and this universal Statement is one of them.
In this year, at a time when the impact of the Covid19 epidemic is getting stronger and the public health system in the most capitalist countries is failing and cannot protect human safety.
Millions of workers have lost their jobs, and labor rights are abolished, thousands of workers, especially the elderly are at risk of losing their lives, and health systems are powerless in the face of this epidemic, the world economy is in big crisis, while the capitalist governments helps the large monopolistic capitalist firms by giving trillions dollars to their companies to protect Capitalism systems, and leaves millions who are suffering from poverty, unemployment and marginalization
The new global crisis is not a result of Covid19 epidemic. We as the Communist and Workers' parties estimate that this crisis is the result of the insurmountable contradictions of the exploitative system, while the emergence of Covid19 epidemic emphasizes the class character of the anti-popular policy of bourgeois governments and Capitalist market economy which neglected policies that serve health and the environment and scientific research.
In this new situation we fight as communist and labor parties in our countries against dictatorships, the extreme right, the new fascism and in general capitalist regimes that exploit the working class and other popular strata. We are fighting against the imperialist plans and interventions of the USA, NATO, the EU and their allies. At the same time, we are fighting together for socialism which will establish real development, which will serve the people's needs and the cause of peace, will abolish the exploitation of man by man.
Capitalism is not the end of history, and the communist and workers' parties seek to coordinate the international struggle to overthrow it.
The struggle for peace, workers' rights, save environment, public health protection, ending of poverty and unemployment needs workers' power, Socialism, and the joint struggle of the Communist and Workers' parties, of the working class and the peoples.
The first day of May the International Labor Day remains to motive our fighting for socialism which is the bright future of humanity.
